ecognosis is an experimental short that I directed in conjunction with a larger art installation — “The Sexy Apocalypse”. The project was a collaboration with several local Utah artists with the charge to “go wild”. I encouraged all of the contributors — editor, cinematographer, artist, photographer and musician — to unleash their full creative might. The result is a visually stunning piece that evokes both melancholy and hope amidst a turbulent future.
