I had the most awesome experience of being a guest on CBC’s Q one of Canada’s premiere arts and culture talk shows. The show is hosted by the very handsome Jian Ghomeshi. It’s airs in the U.S. on Sirius and Public Radio International. They were in town last Thursday for the Sundance Film Festival. They invited me and the Salt Lake Tribune’s Lindsay Whitehurst to discuss myth-busting in SLC, and how it is we became the “gayest city in America”.
We had a blast broadcasting from the State Room in SLC. Other guests included the band Tennis and the always amazing Margaret Atwood.
Podcast the interview here. We are in part 3 — ten minutes into the segment.
You can read the review of the entire show by The City Weekly’s Dan Nailen.
Thanks CBC for the invite. It was great fun.
