Tabloid — LA Premiere

by Troy Williams

We had a great evening in LA at the Tabloid premiere.  Big thanks to David Newkirk for bringing his camera and Rick Jacobs for driving us in his fantastic 61 Lincoln Continental.  And wow!  To at long last meet the eccentric and passionate Joyce McKinney and her service dog Booger Hong (the clone of the late Booger)!  An unforgettable night!

And “Re-Joyce!” on KRCL’s RadioActive.  I welcome Tabloid producer Mark Lipson as well as Jennifer Dobner from the Associated Press, and people who knew Joyce and Kirk back in the day — musicians Kurt Bestor and Ken Hodges and Kathy Riordan.
